4th of July

We had a wonderful 4th of July! We feel so blessed to live in a country that allows us to be free. We don't always agree with the decisions our leaders are making, but there are so many things we have that others don't. We truly feel we are living the American Dream. We have a home and a family. We're proud to be Americans.

We started the day off with the Riverdale City parade. Cousins Katherine and Jamie were in the parade. Aunt Katie had a float for work and Aunt Camille and cousins Allison, Daniel, Laura, and Max helped pass out popsicles. Cooper was a great candy picker upper, but then he realized he could put it in his mouth. We enjoyed a nap and then had Nana and Uncle Cory over for dinner. Mmmm... hamburgers and corn on the cob! We ended our day with fireworks and ice cream at the Child's house. We threw "Pop Its" and did Sparklers, and, of course, fireworks! We even made a picture for next year's calendar!
